Shannon Haines

BA. Public Health, Rutgers University. Shannon is a second year graduate MPH student at the Milken Institute of Public Health at George Washington University. Her concentration at Milken is in global environmental health, which focuses on environmental health issues in low and middle resource settings. She found great interest in climate change and human health intersection work through her internship with the World Wildlife Fund’s Environment and Disaster Management Team. Shannon has also previously served with AmeriCorps on an environmental service corps, interned with the American Red Cross, and conducted pediatric asthma research with Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. At EFI she focuses on researching climate, education, and health issues.
