Martina Guglielmone

BA Political Science, Lynn University. Martina is currently finishing an MA in Sociology at George Washington University, where she serves as a research and teaching assistant. Her main research interests are education policy and political trends. She has published content on Latin American policy issues for the Council on Hemispheric Affairs and she is co-founder of Open Americas, a platform for university students to share content that engages with contemporary social and political issues in the Americas. Martina completed a program in international relations at the CIEE Global Institute in Berlin, Germany and she has held internships at Free the Slaves, International Rescue Committee, American Red Cross, and Human Rights Connected. Originally from Argentina, she has also lived in Ecuador, Spain, and Mexico. At EFI, she will focus on social and environmental policy in relation to population, education, and poverty.
