Research & Content Development Fellow
Kayla is currently a freelance editor and researcher in Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies, focused on Latin America, from Colby College, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Barcelona Institute of International Studies. Prior to joining EFI as a Research and Content Development Fellow, Kayla worked as an international benefits research analyst, and prior to that, in public affairs and communications, international education, and at the U.S. Department of State. At EFI, her sustainability research is focused on energy, environmentally sound technology, and waste. Kayla is eager to apply her preliminary studies about sustainability, particularly the circular economy, along with her extensive experience in Latin America, to complement her research about some of the most pressing social and environmental sustainability issues of our time.
