Cliven recently finished an MSc in Climate, Land Use, and Ecosystem Services at AgroParisTech/Univesité Paris-Saclay. He has worked in international organisations focusing on researching the nexus of water-energy-food challenges in sub-Saharan Africa. Before moving to France, Cliven worked in research and teaching in the agribusiness and education sectors in Zimbabwe. Born and raised in a family of farmers, he has extensive experience working with smallholder farmers focusing on adoption of good agronomic practices and technologies. Cliven holds a BSc in Agronomy from the Midlands State University in Zimbabwe. At EFI, he focuses on natural resources management and sustainability issues relating to land use, food systems, ecosystems services, and climate change.
