Chimdi holds a BA from The University of Chicago, where he double-majored in Public Policy and Environmental & Urban Studies. At Chicago, he cultivated his interest in environmental policy and wrote his thesis on the U.S congress’ handling of fuel efficiency standards since 1975. Chimdi has worked at the University of Chicago Urban Labs’ Energy and Environment Lab, where he was involved in research and analysis on issues relating to elevated blood lead levels in children, climate change mitigation techniques in India, and water conservation efforts in California. Chimdi is originally from England. At EFI, he focuses on climate, energy, and environmentally sound technologies.
