What We Do
The Environic Foundation International promotes the study of conditions, both tangible -- what we can see, hear, taste, touch and smell, and intangible – what we feel, believe, and care about and the decision-making systems we use. Through education that integrates an understanding of our tangible and intangible world, it becomes possible to improve the human condition while ensuring the vitality of the natural world.
Our programs examine the sum effect of the natural and human forces that determine the quality of our environment, including the physical sciences, social and economic systems, and spiritual traditions.
Our method is not derived from any single political, cultural or spiritual tradition. At root, all traditions share a common foundation – our conditions are shared and our aspirations for peace, health and prosperity are universal.
The purpose of our work is to develop the ability to ask the right questions in order to make decisions that are appropriate for people, place, purpose, and time.
EFI's programs develop the ability to recognize the whole amid the pieces. This leads to a radically different attitude toward the world -- that we have a common responsibility for something larger than ourselves.
