Bernard J. Flaherty

Bernard Flaherty is Principal of Norris St. John Consulting, a firm providing management strategies and solutions to industry, government and non-profit organizations. Flaherty has over 20 years of experience in building and designing training solutions and learning organizations in public and private sector settings. He has served as Director of Nextel Communications' Technology Institute, Principal with American Management Systems' Training Services, and Director of Training for the OSCE in Bosnia-Herzegovina as an Army officer in infantry and special operations units. His work in the corporate training world has run the gamut from analysis to evaluation in the United States and abroad for projects valued up to $1 billion.

Along with developing EFI’s Sustainable Societies – Africa, his recent projects include the creation of a training strategy for an international telecommunications company and revising a new hire program for an international insurance company.
